Experienced and Dedicated Legal Representation

A native Oklahoman, Micah received his law degree from Oklahoma City School of Law in December of 2010 and was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar the following year.

Once admitted, and in an effort to break into the Oil and Gas industry, Micah worked for several oil and gas land brokerages assisting major Oklahoma-based Oil and Gas companies prospecting in southern Kansas.   Micah conducted stand-up title searches in several Kansas courthouses and prepared ownership reports which landmen would reply upon in securing leases from local mineral owners.

In March of 2012, Micah accepted his first employment as an Oil and Gas Title Attorney where he prepared Drilling Title Opinions, Division Order Title Opinion, and Acquisition Title Opinions for many prominent Oil and Gas Companies.

After nine years of working in upstream development, the volatility of the oil and gas industry led Micah to pivot his legal career to a new practice area: Insurance Defense.  In this new role, Micah consulted with numerous insurance carriers, investigated Plaintiff’s damages, and drafted reports to adjusters advising on liability issues, potential defenses, and the strengths and weaknesses of Plaintiff’s causes of action against their insured.

In November of 2021, Micah and his wife moved to San Antonio, Texas to seek new career opportunities.  He was admitted to the Texas Bar in the summer of 2022 and worked for a well-respected insurance defense firm.  Micah continues to maintain his law license in Oklahoma.

Micah and his wife moved to the DFW Metroplex in March of 2024 and he began working at the McMurray Law firm as a Real Estate Attorney where he specializes in Real Estate litigation, Contract Law, and Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law. Micah is also a member of the Denton County Bar Association since 2023.

In his spare time, Micah enjoys spending time with his family and friends and cheering on his favorite sports teams.  Despite his Oklahoma roots, Micah has grown to love living in Texas with its rich history, diverse landscapes, and all the opportunities it provides.  In early summer of 2025, Micah and his wife welcomed their first child into the world – a native Texan.
